Jim - Believe me, I feel ya about the unemployment issue. Normally I'm not one to say to increase the time/money for public assistance, but considering these trying times, they should let people extend again, if they really need it and they are actually trying to get a job (such as you and myself). I admit that I don't have the roommate issue that you are having and I'm sorry to hear that, but I definitely feel ya on the end of unemployment issue. Mine ends at the end of May as well. Sounds like we're in the same boat, within reason.
Hopefully you will find something (and/or your room mate will too) soon and that will help you out. I would also explain the utility bill situation with your room mate and explain that if he can't afford to pay for it, then he can't afford to run up the bill because you can't afford to pay for it either. It's just how it actually is.

Last I heard, we may be looking for experienced craps dealers if anyone is interested. Would require relocating to West Wendover though. I will check with my boss tonight.
I called the loan officer handling my loan application today and she said my application looks good and is going to email me my pre approval letter
The next step is to contact the realtor and get a walkthrough of the house

R1 Demon, I hear ya on the unemployment thing. I have a chance to work at my nearest Walgreens store in their photo department. I will see the manager tomorrow. I wonder if groveling will work?

I just got my first View of the local mountains and WOW, looks like we got a ton of snow !!! I don't know what they look like from the Vegas side, but if I did snow sports I'd be

Well, it's official......IT"S SPRING!!!!
I hope you enjoy your first day of Spring.
Jeff - Congratulations! I hope you get the house you want.
Jim - Been busy packing a few things & moving boxes to storage. We should have the keys to the house today! It's not the house on Cheryl Way. We couldn't qualify for a bank laon, so we found an owner carry further out in Stagecoach. It's a dbl wide - 3 bdrm x 2 bath on 1 acre horse property for $65,000. It's a nice home, but the location isn't the most desirable! I'm trying to get Jimmy to bring the 70 Ford to the house, but we'll probably just leave it at my old house in MoundHouse (where my daughter is living) Still no word on your settlement, huh? I'll keep you posted on where the truck is, so yu know where to pick it up.

. Going to be a nice spring day here, except it's still cold (37*), it just chaps my hide that at my brothersplace, west of Chicago the temp is 68* 
Really hope it stays nice so all the "projects" can get done and so Donna can put those "NEW" house keys to use, then Jeff can follow with his move !!! Everyone, regulars and visitors "Have a great and safe day" ... Dave

How is everyone doing today? Hopefully doing well!
Well, I'll be busy over the next three days. I was contracted to shoot the MTV Spring Break party over at The Palms. It's going to be nuts. I'm actually shooting for PictureGroup and MTV and their sponsors, so I'm going to be busy trying to cover a TON of stuff, but that's what makes it fun, right? 
It's definitely going to be something different and I'm sure I'll get a ton of shots of drunk kids running around the pool area. LOL

Donna- Wish my luck I won't be worrying about the Ford until sometime next year.
So where it is at now is no big deal. If I can get a job, then I will be able to get it sooner, but don't know when that will be. Went to Walgreens today, and finished up the second part of the online app, only to be told by the manager that they currently have a hiring freeze on. However, she did state that it could be lifted at anytime, and that the app will stay on file for 60 days. So there is still some hop.
