Good morning everyone. Went out to my cousins place yesterday and he help me get my door handle fixed. Now I don't have to roll my window down to open my door After that I helped him with a couple projects he was working on. Once we were done I went out and took a couple of pics of my '71 and found out the 429 block I bought last year for test fitment of the trans and crossmember is a D0VE-A block. I am going to have to do some research on this. If it turns out to be what I think it is I am going to take it in for cleaning and build it for the '71.
What a day... I'm soooo tired! I went to my Orientation training yesterday from 2-4pm for todays job event in Fernley. Then I had to be at work this morning at 4:30am. So, I had to get up at 2am to get ready & make it there on time! I'm surprised I can even focus on the computer screen to type this. LOL!
After work, I received a text from Jimmy saying that we had to get our home owners insurance squared away & get to the title company w/ the remainder of the closing costs for the house. That means back to Fernley again! I told Jimmy to reschedule the Title Co./Escrow meeting for tomorrow, because I just couldn't make that drive again today. We did however get the Insurance taken care of as we need that prior to closing escrow & signing papers. So, we'll probably be moving stuff all this weekend to the new house. I'm soooo excited! It's like I want to do everything now, but my body just isn't going anywhere until I get sleep. LOL!
I also want to send a special thank you to Bruce & all of our Regulars
Thanks for helping out here keeping things going throughout the day, etc. as I've been kinda scarce lately. Your all AWESOME! I'm trying to keep up a daily morning routine here, but find it hard lately w/ the 2 day work schedule I had , plus all the house stuff going on. THANKS AGAIN!
Thanks Gerry, but I couldn't do this w/o everyone's help. It's all about "team work" & we make an awesome team! Thanks for being a part of it!
We're leaving for the Title Co. in about an hour! I'm both excited & nervous at the same time. How stupid is that? LOL! I can't wait till we have the keys in hand, so we can finally start moving. YEAH!!!
Glad things are finally falling into place for you! Hope your move is uneventful, and quick! I hate moving.
Jim
Thanks Jim! I don't mind moving so much, I just hate packing!. I already told Jimmy that & thankfully he's done the majority of it. LOL! I'll move boxes & furniture all day to avoid wrapping & packing things.
