I have one option left before I have to wait. I need to find some contractors to get a quote for building a house. Then instead of a home loan get a construction loan to include the price of the lot. Anyone know any contractors?

Jeff - like us, we had found the perfect home that we wanted & someone already made an offer on it. It showed that it was still available on the market too! Often times if you have the MLS #, you can enter the realtors website & enter in the MLS#, & it'll tell you if it's pending sale or not. But you have to use the MLS# not the address. I think I found the site through Coldwell Banker. It brings up a list of the houses & tells you if they are available, pending sale, or recently sold.
Well, time for me to get motivated for the day. I have a Dr's. appt. this morning, then DMV to get a moving permit for my horse trailer that is being restored, then more moving.

FRIDAY EVE !!!
Great day to all who read this ... Friday eve, why not? It's going to be a nice weekend here, thinkin about going shootin Sat AM gettin some of the dust of the big boy toys. Getting my "work truck" (83 Ford F250 ex-cab 6.9 diesel) cleaned up for Monday gotta wash out the bed and then the body bath. Seems to run good for having 400,000 + miles ... 4 sp. trans is a bit worn out, 4 gears and 9 places to put the stick ... should be fun !!! Great news... the A/C works very well !!!
Jeff... Hang in there, the right house will come to you soon. Remind your Realtor "no house, no sale, no income = new Realtor ... that's called MOTIVATION !!!

Jeff - As far as I know, no, I'm not going to shoot at Bonneville. I wish I could though. That would be awesome. I wonder how far it is from Vegas. I might have to check into that.
Also, sorry about the house, but as Bruce said, don't force it. There are SOOOO many houses on the market right now, there is bound to be another one that suits your fancy and will work out for ya.

Howdy all!
Just wanted to drop in and say hi before I went in for the final day of the MTV Spring Break at the Palms Casino Resort.
Wholly crap the last two days have been crazy as heck! But it's been fun. I'm totally tired/exhausted/worn out (you get the idea), but got some great pics. I'll post a link as soon as I'm allowed to. I have to wait for MTV to air the stuff before I can post up pictures. I should find out today when that is.
I thought it was "live", but then I've gone over some taping stuff with the production crew, so I'm not sure now. LOL
Anyway, I hope everyone has had a great couple of days and things are rollin' well for you all.

I did have a blast, but it was very, very tiring. Always on the go and the schedule was ever changing. But it was worth it. I had a good time.
I won't be able to post pics until everything airs on MTV the week of April 2nd. Once it airs on MTV, then I can legally post pics. I'll try to remember, but if I forget, please remind me because I have to shoot a golf tourney the weekend prior (3/29-4/1) and I'm actually taking a motorcycle performance riders course/class held by Reg Pridmore called CLASS on 3/30 at Streets of Willow. I can't wait for that.
So, I'll have to shoot Thursday, skip Friday and drive down to the track by 7am (4.5 hrs away), ride the track all day getting instruction from the instructors and then drive home that night and then shoot the next two days of the golf tourney.

That's what I was thinking. But then I woke up to a layer of the white stuff again today. The last layer was still melting off, and now this?? Mother nature has no regard for our seasons!

I think mom nature is trying to keep our water level up to a useful amount, no matter what our plans are. I'm sure she has good intentions ... but darn it we got stuff to do... OH well this too shall pass and in July, snow would be a God-send for most of us in NV. ... Look on the bright side, you didn't run the water bill up to water the lawn LOL
