The wipers themselves are at least as good as the stock wipers, probably a bit better.
They (obviously) do not provide enough heat to melt the ice off the windshield as they wipe it BUT they do keep the ice off the wipers and therefore keep them operating properly.
It was always a pain to be driving in town and have the snow melting on the windshield / wipers then get on the highway and have everything freeze up and the wipers not work. Always had to pull over and smash the ice off the wipers. No need anymore.
All in all, woth the $125.00 IMHO.
Very easy install to upfitter switch #4
Do they need to be connected to a timer module...like how when the defrost is activated it will automatically shut off after x minutes? Or can they be left on without a time limit via the upfitter?

Thanks!
Since it has gotten cold I have just left them on all the time.....
The instructions didn't say anything about a timer and they came with a simple on/off toggle switch so pretty sure you are safe to leave them on as long as you like.
