And Darren finally posted a pic with no snow in sight! I'm ready for some warm weather...
I think she will forgive you, but you better driver her hard.
You nailed it! She was a bit cranky this AM, was defueling on low coolnat temp so I threw her on hi idle for 15 min. When I came back out she just wanted to run. An hour drive to work and all is good now

Thanks for the on the Lettering. Yep, I did it. Easy, purchased the lettering kit through ebay. It's a Ford assesory item.
Nice picture of the lake. Is this where your place is?
Yes sir, Lake Wabamun. I am staying out there for a few days while the fam is away to try and get a few things done (and have a couple of beers). Bonus is that I get to drive an hour to and from work.
Awesome Darren!! I laughed out loud when I read your birthday post.
I drove mine around for a bit last night. Went over to the in-laws' place to grill out. Now the inside of the truck smells like BBQ.
Had to go from there to Wally World to get a brake light bulb for the wife's Denali and had to play question and answer with some folks about the truck while I was there......that's a good thing though. Maybe I converted a couple of Duramax guys.
Roy, that bumper step there, dont you have that locked on there, I would
You are right..... That's one of the "I'll get to it" things.
It is more than a step. It is heavy and has slightly compressed springs in the black round area between the hitch and the chrome tube. It is designed to take a rear end hit and asorbe some of the impact.
On my window sticker, it is the date I viewed it online...3/16/2012. The door sticker says 10/10. Not sure if that means October of 2010 or October 10, and it is assumed that it was building in 2010. I'm guessing it was built on 10/10/10 mainly because that is cool to type.
I guess there are really two dates to consider.......
The birth date AND the adoption date......can't forget when you actually made the truck a part of the family.
Ha, so the big question. Does life begin at conception? I wonder what day they made the frame rails? Engine assembly? Or the day they connected the batteries? Going to have to consult a higher authority on this one......

Considering that the electrical system makes up half the value of late model trucks, I would put the "born on" date at the time of the battery being hooked up, giving all systems life!!
Thanks...I am apparently not paying much attention to detail. I read that thread, participated in it, viewed the site and never noticed the 1/10/2010 build date of my truck. Thank you...

Just remember the date is day/month/year on that site.
