Good morning Savage.......
I ordered a Steering Stabilizer yesterday......
Now you can pick on me about getting it installed ......
Cab Lights...
The steering stabilizer is something you could in 10 minutes while waiting for your wife to get in the truck because she is doing whatever woman do while getting ready.
Cab Lights...
Not much to report here today. Plenty of boredom setting in right about now. I can't even drive yet.
Good Morning John,
Don't do what I did after the operation...
Started feeling like new a couple of weeks after so I decided to go ahead with plans for a camping/fishing trip.
Bad idea as I ended up stressing it and it did not finish healing properly.
So I had to got through physical therapy (wew - almost said therapy...Roy would have had a field day with that one wouldn't he ) for 3 months to get it right.
So I guess what I am saying is, even if it starts feeling better, take it easy...
My experience with this type of surgery is to follow the intructions carefully. In the past, if they said to do ten repetitions of an exercise, I would do twenty. Wanting to be stronger and get well faster. Not the right approach. I created scar tissue by over-doing and in one case, my left shoulder, the surgery had to be redone to take out the scar tissue. SOB still hurts me years later. Do any heavy work and I pay a price for it. So try to be patient and stick to the prescribed routine.

And after you practice drilling the holes on yours you can come do mine please?
Actually explained to her that even if it fell out that you can still steer the darn thing.... and she now hopefully understands.
Roy....only took about 15 minutes. One bolt and one nut (and a hammer to tap the post side out) to remove the old one.
And two nuts and one bolt to install the new one. Piece of cake! Just an FYI, the drawing that is provided shows putting the post on the wrong side of the stabilizer...
That figures.......... Most of these outfits don't have a clue how to write a set of instructions ... or technical paper....

YES Sir !!
I could use a little encouragement..... Stop by for the weekend...
Now we really know what that fancy computer is for.
I remember reading a post that said some BS about company or work or something
I don't game on a PC, never have much. That rig actually is my work rig. I prefer my big screen, comfy chair and a console. Currently the xbox 360 or PS3 (rarely).

I would love to do that...in fact, if you weren't so far I'd help with the cab lights as well. I just refuse to do the actual drilling...you can eff up your own truck.
If you were a gamer like me, this would be happy times!
Indeed it would. I used to game a lot years ago but kids, work, and everything else in life ended that.

I'm with 'ya John.
I just can't stand to sit around.....character flaw I guess. I need to be up moving around. I go back to the doc on Tuesday and hopefully after that, I'll at least be able to get out and drive around.

Me? I have to do it wrong to know what's right.
Cheers, and good luck with the healing.
Yup....did the same thing with a right rotator cuff tear about ten years ago Bruce. I pushed things to hard, too quickly and ended up getting cortisone shots in the shoulder.......that sucked!

I remember reading about that computer. The government called and said that NORAD wanted to borrow it.
