Just curious, what is your approximate tab so far on this project? I know everyone's costs will be different, but an approximate cost would be nice. Also, if you could post the material list as a complete list all together in one place it would be a lot easier to take it shopping. I know...picky, picky, picky, lol!

I guess i should have been a bit more patient. A very nice writeup and a very good looking installation too. I'm looking forward to seeing what kind of difference it makes in how the truck runs. That system should be good for at least 1 or 2 transmissions, lol.

Awesome write up man. I'm wondering if you added any type of barb to the stock, steel return lines that got cut down or are the clamps enough to keep it sealed and seated?

I did not add any thing to the steel lines in the valley. I did double clamp those. In my experience with this system and in repairing many other OE fuel systems it has been enough to double clamp as long as you use 3/8 hose on 3/8 line and 5/16 on 5/16. Down on the frame I did add a compression fitting and hose barb because I was using 3/8 hose going into a 5/16 steel line. That would not work just clamping. I feel comfortable without any extra there.

Thumbs up

Tim, congrats, thanks for that excelent write up.

One question, looking at the pics, seems that one hose interfers if you want to take off the IPR? Am I correct?
I liked how you resolved the part of the fittings in the back of the heads

ps it would be wonderful if all the parts were in one progressive list (would be easier for us the old people)

Thanks to your write up, I just completed my e-fuel today...and boy what a difference! There is no telling how long my old mechanical pump was going bad compared to this!

I believe it was right around $600. I bought the regulator used for about $100 everything else was bought from Napa at Wholesale prices so you mileage may vary.

I will have the itemized parts list and what not up later. Sorry guys just not much time these days. Bear with me!

Looks great Tim. I really like the filter set up and your pics and explanation is top notch.

Here's a couple of observations from my time on the super duty side.

Might be a good idea to go to a 100 psi gauge.
Many people eliminate the "quick" connect fittings on the fuel pump and just use a hose clamp and 3/8" fuel line to attach to the fuel pump.

Might also be a good idea to put some wireloom over those braided lines. Especially the one close to the Stancor.
