Just got myself a 94 F350 XL with the 5.8 in it. It’s going to be used primarily for landscaping, but will also be my daily driver. I’m looking for upgrade ideas to bring a little more life into the motor. I want more torque over anything, and am already thinking about adding 4.10 gears, a Edelbrock truck intake, Hedman headers, and a y pipe that goes to a single 3” exhaust (no cats, already junk). It has speed density so my camshaft options are limited but I was thinking of the crane 444232 with new lifters and valve springs. Is there anything else I should do I.e. heads, rocker arms, air intake kit, anything to bring some oomph when I put my foot down. The thing is a damn dog right now.
