Hey guys I was wondering if there's a way to get more noise out of the turbo. I'm running 3 inch straight pipe. I have a 94 7.3 turbo and I'm curious if it has a silencer on the turbo?
Welcome to FTE by the way! You found the best forum on the net. Lots a great guys, and theyll even help you spend your money on cool stuff for the rig!
The Stinger Plus package does away with the stock exhaust. There should be no flattened down pipe on the truck. It also has a different turbine housing.
If your truck still has the original Banks intake, that would be the place to work on. With the original Banks intake on my 87' I can't hear the turbo at all.

Thats assuming he has a banks turbo....
4 inch exhaust and a good air intake will help, along with more fuel.
Sorry, I read the post UNDER the original post. Saw the stinger plus in Ford4life's sig.
I figured haha. Yeah, ive basically replaced everything in the package. Intake is now different (6637), ditched the crappy banks chip, am doing stacks soon (As soon as i get them...company failed to inform me theyre backordered for 2 weeks now). Only thing thats the same is the banks turbo housing lol
