e4OD Overdrive not working (???)
1) I guess I dave a 7.3L but NOT a 7.3L DI (???)
2)So now I see the TECA and will clean, (it seems VERY hard to get to an the firewall directly above the fender, right?)
3) Is that cylindrical metal thing above it the Speed Control Servo? because the weird metal wrapped tube that comes out of it and disappears under my Banks box atop the engine looks EXACTLY like the one that comes out from under the box on the other side and then is broken off by my BAP sensor I wrote about earlier- I'm still wondering if that has something to do with the problem.
4)I am still confused about the most important one: THE TRANS SOLENOID PACK, I don't see any Power distribution box in my truck or on the diagram (???) Is it one of the connectors that in my manual are just called
C152, C151, C134, C102, C133, C103, C129, etc. ?
Sorry, I've searched the manuals and the internet, and all I can find is the actual transmission solenoid which is in the transmission above the pan. Thanks again for all your help, I just have to troubleshoot everything this weekend before sending it to the trans shop, because if its NOT something actually inside or attached to the transmission (IE one of these connectors) they claim it is not under warranty. One would think that $2000 and a one year warranty on a transmission would mean that if the transmission doesn't work that they will fix it, but I guess that was way to optimistic of me!

The thing with the weird metal wrapped tube is the cruise control servo.
The tranny solenoid pack is internal. The connection is on the passenger side (behinde the heat sheild). Check that plug. Sqeeze and pull up. Do not pry it with a screwdriver. Check for corrosion, damaged pins, ect.
The truck drives and shifts better now (probably due to MLPS), and when it was cold I actually had overdrive! But after a 20 min drive I parked it at the store, and on the way home my OD was gone again. Pulled the codes AGAIN, and I'm down to one one! That damn 99 is still there, causing me to believe its the actual Solenoid pack. So, unless anyone has a better idea I'll be driving it to San Jose and asking the transmission shop to fix it, since it's only 4 months into a 12 month warranty! Thanks again for all the help guys.
so it's either the pcm,the wires, the banks trans command, one of these connectors in between,or the solenoid pack.

you line up the marks on the MLPS while trans is in neutral.
you didn't line 'em when you had 'er in park did you?
