yes, the tracks do need to be changed, but if your swapping out your original bench then the tracks are right there... i swapped a 90's bench into my 73 then gave the 73's bench to a buddy for his 65.
granted i used to just put my coffee on the dash. the death wobble always stirred it really well.
Found a aftermarket plastic console I forgot I had, sits on top of the seat. The above picture is dumb, btw. If she was laying down in the truck, her head would be in your lap! Dummy.
The only thing I have to fix with the upgraded model is her road noise. It keeps going even when she'd be OUT of the truck!
On a side note, I found one of these style cupholders in the auto parts section at a store last night. The one in this picture was too big for me so I got a smaller model.
Gonna pull the dash face today and screw it on in the same location as yours Galendor.
The seat tracks are different. They are bolt on if you use the correct tracks.
Unless my memory is cheating me here...
I have had to change the tracks on a couple of bench seats before. The last three I did not change anything, they went right in. I have a split back bench from a 90's truck in my 79 shortbed. It bolted right up. I have a 93 crew cab seat in our 75 f-600 and a 90's with the armrest in a 65. Now that I think about it, I did change the tracks to put it in the 65.
