New Center console (work in progress)
May head over to the excursion thread and share this too...
I really like it, they usually outfit emergency vehicles for the PD, state trooper rigs, fire trucks etc... but they will work the individual in now and again to get one installed and let me tell you... it's nice. Very utilitarian... but nice. I am trying to talk him into an overhead console that runs cab length.. no luck yet haha.
The customer service was superb, I was a picky little *******... Mike Snow was patient and made sure I was satisfied with my product. I elected not to have a CB or Ham radio etc. etc. so mike made me a monster cubby hole and I love it.
My power inverter was bad out of the box (never had that problem with Peak before) and he replaced it no problem.
I know I know ENOUGH OF THE JABBER DUDE SHUT UP AND SHOW THE PICS:

On the bench at Mikes shop.
Mike and his crew making it happen for me.
The fit is great
I chose to have Mike include (not installed) the 1200w power inverter with remote panel. Very nice, very much worth it.
14x8x3 <br/>Just gonna leave that here for your creative mind.
The material is tough:

800.00 installed with all the mods I did. Like the Leather arm pad, custom-made cubby hole, inverter, blah blah.
if you get a blank faceplate you can get it MUCH cheaper and install your own gadgets. GoJotto - Total Mounting Solutions Provider is who their consoles are designed to work with.
I have the email he sent me, shows 650 for the console before I started tinkering.
Installation was simple, but I was happy with his turn key in and out process so i turned him loose.
No problem!
I always wanted an Excursion, I still do, but I just can't justify two superduty (aka Earth Nimitz) class vehicles. lol.

I tried talking mike into making over head consoles that are cab length with storage, radio options, upfitter switches... you know... skookum stuff... he didnt bite... we need to create a "market" for this... if enough folks want it and he can turn a profit worth his time and overhead... i think he would. What are your thoughts on this?

Actually if you really think about 800.00 is close to what you would be paying on Ebay Craigslist, Kijiji etc for an OEM Ford console like you see in the 11 and up Ford Superduty's that dont have the jump seat.
So considering the fact that you got your custom to your liking and with features you thought you'd like, 800.00 bucks is a deal.
I have been searching for a center console for my 11 SD and finding one that isnt an arm and a leg has been a challenge to say the least cheapest I have seen is 750.00.
So all in all I think that was a decent deal for a customized one. I never actually heard of the HDPE material, but it has my wheels turning that it could be an option if I cant get my hands on an OEM one.
