Headliner and Console are done

Got the headliner finished up and put the console in today. Still have the sun visors to do but other than that the inside is done. I want to do something different than the cardboard visors but have not figured out what just yet.

Very nice. I wish I had installed shoulder belts before I painted the truck.

Thanks everyone for the complements. The seats are second row 2012 Honda Odyssey. I fabricated mounts so that they can be removed from the truck without tools and in less than a minutes time. The headliner is the molded one that Classic Haulers sells. It fit great with very little trimming needed. The lower portion of the headliner (below the rear window) was fabricated from a heavy cardboard material, I freind that helped me with this gave me the board so I not sure where he got it. I got the pattern for the lower pieces from FortyNiner, it was his old headliner. Putting the material on the headliner is somewhat of a challenge. You need about three sets of hands and someone that knows what he is doing, I do not but some guys at the school here do. They have been watching me paint the 48 for the last two years and when I told them that I needed to take it somewhere to get the headliner done they said no you don't and offered to give me a hand. The console came from cupholders.com it is designed to fit in a Corvair but is just the right size to fit between the seats.

Very Nice! AFA sunvisors, I'm going to recover my stock visors. I'm going to cover the bare cardboard with closed cell foam, then vinyl on top of that.

New headliner and cool seats!

Just a question or two.
Did you take the tank out of the cab?
Would those seats work without the tilt steering column?

Very nice job Chuck. I agree that the abs headliner is a good fit. I had a friend help me glue the headliner, you do need lots of hands. I can understand why you stitched a short seam in the rear corners, I did not and it is a real struggle to get the material smooth. The seats look great, everything looks like it belongs there. Congrats!
