It was a merry Christmas. It was quiet. We had a wonderful Christmas dinner with my folks. And for the first time that we can remember our daughter sent us Christmas gifts that actual arrived before Christmas. Last year we got them when we visited her in June. Maybe she's finally growing up.
Here's wishing everyone a Happy New Year. It's a couple days early, but I'm getting it out of the way now as things are going to get busy. We have an annual New Years Day pizza bash where we fix fresh made pizzas for 50 or 60 of our closets friends. I'll be busy prepping for it starting tomorrow.
We had my Mom over Christmas Day. Back to work on 12/26. Fridays I don't work, so we met my sister and her family (6 kids & husband) at the zoo in Columbia - kinda halfway for us to meet. We brought my Mom and pushed her wheelchair through all the exhibits. Exchanged gifts afterwards. The on Saturday we drove 100 miles to meet with one of my wife's nephews and his wife and 3 kids.
But I did get bags full of reps from my FTE friends! Thanks guys!
There are those that only work in the recieving department though.
I'm Skeered of Carlene ...She repped me recently , made mention of how I (this time) deserved the rep . I guess as opposed to the way it used to be .
I got all my rep squares well before the rep game started by earning them one way or another , mostly in tech threads .. For the most part I haven't posted much recently , for a variety of reasons . That is one of them .Some of the rest is due to The Tech sections are more of a place to BS ,rather than to solve problems . That all left me wondering why I was here . I really loved the rep threads & they caused no harm .. But it seems some can't let others simply be happy . The newbies that come here for a post or two(look at the numbers) would never know anything about the ratings ,or care .. Mom Or Dad decided we should not be having so much fun .
We all followed the rules , only to have them change .... Now you know ...
I edited some of the anger out , For now . Still viewable to some ,,,Its probably hanging like a cloud out over lake Michigan ...
