Rep history

Is there a way to go back through the rep comments we have received?
Is 15 the limit?
And while I'm asking about Rep points;
Is there a way to see what other people have received points for?

I think only Admin can do such things.....Came up a coupla years ago......They can ALSO show a member how many reps he or she gave out......Which I'm curious about because I feel I neglect to do so a lot.......

Came up when a former member 'whose name shall not be mentioned' ( ) was lecturing how he didn't pass out a lot because his reps had a lot of 'power' behind them.....Whereupon the former owner of FTE shot back 'yeah.....you've only handed out like 23 of them' (or some such number....)......

Then he promptly pointed out the members who gave out a LOT of reps.......Those tended to be the members who generally had positive attitudes and good rapport with the other members.

I understand!
I was feeling nostalgic last night.
And I also would like to know what reps I've given.
I feel that I may be guilty of not giving as I've received.

As to He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named;
Rep is appreciation of a post not anointment.

PS; I just found a feature I did not know existed
Mouse over the green rep squares and a comment window opens.
Comments such as _______ has a superb reputation, or _______ has a brilliant future.

I give reps out frequently for good posts, good information, etc. However, I also watch who notices them and who acknowledges them and remember that when I decide to hand them out again.

Why are some "reps" different colors up there on the right?

I can't remember the exact numbers Ian but at some point, the bright green ones become a little more expensive. In other words, at some point, it moves from being 100 rep points for each new green rep box, to 200 points for each one. Then after that, you eventually move to 500 points when moving from Brilliant Future, to Spectacular Reputation, to Superb Reputation. I think that's close to accurate anyway.

Thanks John! I don't think I have ever seen a 3rd color on the blocks but I will scan as I read. Thanks again!

I still think 11 is the limit for the squares, though. The 'title' (for lack of a better word) that appears when you hover over them is all that changes once you get 11.

You bet. It took a little while before I understood all of it.....and I'm not sure I've got it all down yet.
