Throttle hook-up
How do i hook up the throttle cable to a elderbrok carb with a offy dp intake do i need a throttle bracket or is it direct hook-up?

You'll need to rig up or purchase an aftermarket throttle cable bracket. The stock throttle cable bracket bolts to the stock intake, so it goes with it when it's removed.

Lokar makes one, I think it's the SRK-4000.

I use the Lokar too. Along with it you'll need the little bracket that holds the cable at the corner of the carb. SRK 4000, Summit Racing.com

Of course it would be less expensive to run a coat hanger through the firewall for a throttle cable.

throttle cable
Now with the lokar bracket can I use my stock throttle cable to hook everything up?

I don't think so but I'm not sure. I think some have used the cable from an Evan. I used the Lokar bracket and a 4' Lokar cable.

Autozone also has a universal throttle cable and throttle cable bracket that works really good. They also have a the return spring kit and bracket.
