throttle linkage

ok guys i'm stumped. as you know i hae an 84 f-150 w/302 & c4 tranny. i'm trying to connect the kickdown rod. i have the elderbrock 1406 carb & preformer intake. i went to the junkyard got the throttle bracket and cable of another 84 but i can't get the thing to mount up on the intake. can anyone show me a picture of how it goes on the intake?

I have never used your type intake on these trucks, but it might not fit. You may have to buy a aftermarket cable hook-up like this.

Designed for Fords with cable-activated throttle and automatic transmission kickdown, this plate repositions stock throttle cable brackets so they align with Edelbrock Performer or Thunder AVS Carburetor throttle arms. Use with stock throttle cable bracket and Throttle Lever Adapter #350-1483.

franklin2 you are right i went back to the parts store to get the correct part and i did spell that all wrong!!! they didn't have it but it'll be there tomorrow! how do you guys post pictures? i can't seem to get it!
