Those look nice man. A lot of guys use the BHAF. NMB2 is using one that flows like 900cfm iirc. I don't remember what kind of filter out is though but out flows really well though.
Any pics of the manifold? Also with that turbo size, if you go with the other turbo, you could look at a Ford 6.0 vgt. Iirc it is a gt3782v. That would spool really well on your engine and you could control it pneumatically. There is a guy over on OBN running a he351ve remotely under his bed and it still spools well. A vgt would spool even better in the engine bay.
i would keep the gtx wheel for sure, i wonder where i could pic up a vgt housing that would fit a gt30r or gt35r frame?
the gtx wheel is what makes these turbos, it's about on the same level as the wheel in nmb2's turbo so i can have smaller wheels and keep flow.
yea, i will get some pics soon, my welds are junk on them but that is what a grinder is for right?
on a side note, i was blowing air down through the ports and the ones that i wasn't blowing air in were pulling air in, so i guess that is a good thing.
I know a lot of the TDI guys swap wheels on the smaller vgts, so you might be able to do it. You might be able to do it with a 6.0 turbo and make out work. Also you might have to have it balanced if you do it.
basically how to size it for maximum efficiency.
least boost drop, low lag, and best thermal transfer.
i figure that you can do better than stock, kinda why i am looking at aftermarket.
the only thing i really don't like about the one that i posted is that there are no baffles/flutes to help disperse the air though all of the tubes.
i figure there is a way to figure something out. i guess you could just add up the surface area of the pipe and make sure that the ic has as much or more than the pipe
