in the rear like the power strokes or the banks kit.

the more i think about it i think i am going to go with a slightly longer runner and a manifold high enough that you can get the glow plug in and out decently easy

That sounds good. Are they gonna be tubular also for better flow?

what do you mean by tubular? as in round instead of oval?

well, i am in the process of ordering my turbo at the minute. i am having the welder at work stick some pieces of stainless together for crucibles. (i need a gas welder, this flux core sucks lol)
and the weather is good right now, so basically as soon as i get some sand made and don't have to work on the weekend lol

and i still have to make the positive molds

Ya I meant round ports and stuff. Kinda like the Banks ones on the Duramax. Also what kind of turbo are you getting?

What is the size of the compressor housing inducer and exducer? Also you don't think the 1.06ar will spool a bit slow even with the twin scroll?

comp: 58mm inducer, 76mm exducer, trim 58 ar 0.6
turbine: 60mm(not sure if this is the turbine inducer or exducer) , trim 84
30 frame size
gtx wheel
dual ball bearing

nope, i have a plan for that
in the end it will be about a .53 ar at idle and 1.06ar cruising or when boost is above say 5 psi

OoooH. You gonna get one of those boost referenced flap that keeps exhaust in one scroll and then at a certain boost level opens up fully? That will be cool for sure. I've wondered if anyone would ever do one on an idi.

lol yea i am going to try. i hope it works well, i am just worried about getting a high enough grade of stainless because i really don't want it melting and going into the turbine.

What Justin means is the compressor is a bit on the small side depending on how much boost you want. What is your target boost anyway turtlemann?

20lbs, but according to garrets web sight that compressor should be good up to 30 psi and still be over 50% efficient

you would have to have something like a 88mm with a gt series wheel
