Goodmorning everyone.
Hope you had a safe & memorable weekend.
I spent the weekend helping my neighbors move. I'm so tired! It would've gone much smoother if they had everything packed & ready to go, but they waited until the last minute & was packing boxes as we loaded the trucks. GRR!!! Made for a really long weekend, but atleast the big stuff is moved. Now they can move all the little stuff thier cars.
Hope you had a safe & memorable weekend.

Sorry if anyone tried to look at the car show pictures and it didn't show they were there yesterday. :-( My web hosting had a problem with my MySQL database during an upgrade and it cause a MAJOR problem and basically disconnected the information from my site. Ya, major problem.
So, I finally worked on it yesterday morning and got everything back online and working properly again. So, the pictures are available for viewing again. Again, I apologize if you tried to view them and they weren't there. Oooops!

Funny how a good looking gal with a truck gets called into the moves.

Bruce - You can have our summer from down here in Vegas. I'm SOOOO done with it and we even had a "mild" summer. I'm still done with it. By the time Sept gets here, I get sick of 100+ degree heat. It was nice when it was like only 93*F out today when I went out earlier. I was thrilled. LOL

Dang it...I would love to see some pics of the bears wandering around! That would be awesome. I only caught one bear the one time we were at Yosemite NP. We just happened to be out shooting the deer across a field and then everyone started gathering and whispering behind us and someone was nice enough to point out to me that their was a bear in the woods. (We were shooting in the opposite direction)
Sure enough, I turned around and poof, he was walking in and out of the trees. Unfortunately I only had a 200mm lens at the time and we were pretty far away. Worse yet, it was near dusk, so I didn't have much light to shoot the bear coming out of the dark woods. So, I didn't get many good shots of him even though I was trying to hurry my shots. Of course I didn't bring a tripod with me like a goof! If I would have had my tripod and remote with me, I could have gotten some pretty darn good shots.
Anyway, here are the best shots I did get though. I had to crop it a lot (again, only had a 200mm lens and we were pretty darn far away ) and it was pretty low light. It was in April of 2009, so I think he/she was just coming out of hibernation.

Happy Thursday to all! I'm sooooo enjoying these cooler temps! I just wish I could ride my motorcycle right now. Doc says I should still wait a couple of more weeks. <pout>
