Happy Saturday to all!
Happy birthday to me & all with Sept. birthdays!
Not sure if we're doing anything special today (I wanted to go to Tahoe) & as much as I enjoy celebrating bdays...after getting bucked off my horse yesterday, I'm fine with sitting on my *** with ice packs & having some Orange Kisses or Patron shooters.
Mat - That' so exciting that your surgery went well & amazing at how much your vision has improved! Congrats! What a difference, huh?
When they call you regarding the job decision, I think if they also use your phone conversation as part of it, they'll realize the difference between your personal interview & phone skills & take that into account! Let's hope so anyways. I still think you have a good chance at it!
After falling off my horse, yesterday turned out to be fairly good!
I'm pretty scraped up, sore & bruised, but nothings broken. I had a few Orange Kisses, pizza, & cake (marble fudge w/choc. frosting & sprinkles), then we went hot tubbin'!
Mornin' all! I hope everyone had a great holiday weekend!
Donna - Sorry to hear about your horse incident, but I'm glad you're doing okay.
So far, no word on the job decision. However, I'm due to leave here in a min for my second lasik checkup. Hopefully everything will be as good as the first one went.
Good morning everyone. Well, morning for me anyway.
Mat, I,m glad to hear your eye surgery went well. It is said that good things come in threes so your interview should go well also. As for welding floor panels, I do not know how to weld. I am just going to let it continue to sit on the frame for now. I am collecting the parts I need, and when I have them all the EFI 460 and drive train will be coming out of the truck to be transplanted into my '71 F250
Have a nice day.

Jeff - Well, looks like you better get the heavy duty duct tape out!
Ya, I hope you are right about the interview. They keep stalling. I keep calling the staffing company and they haven't heard back from the company's HR department yet. Supposedly they heard about two more hires from the staffing company, but I wasn't on the list. They don't know if that means I'm truly out or if that just means that the supervisors haven't "reconsidered" me as of yet and told HR about it yet.
So, right now, I'm going totally nuts because my wife needs two weeks to put in notice at her job and we are now past that date, so now we're not sure what we're going to do if I get the job, but I still want the job as it's been the only bite I've had.
So, it's back to worrying again for another day...uggggghhhhh!
Good morning everyone. Did not get anything done to the truck today so I went up to the club and helped the owner tear the stage apart in preparation of the remodel. Not going to say no to free beer
