Dave,the funny thing is at one point I tried a stretch of two lane interstate and had a dozen or so cars and big trucks trucks behind us. I felt bad and pulled to the side to let them pass. After they passed I got back on the road about a mile up the road there was another backup, this time there was a Model A in front of them going slower than I was.
O/T but too cool to not post. A Buick COE! Think of the craftsmanship to make such big panels! They totally nailed the integration of the windshield and doors, but I'd have made it about 2 ft shorter. JMO.
Only saw it on the web. A Google Image Search takes me to the HAMB, and those guys believe it to be a photoshop creation, not real. Apparently whoever did it also created a COE Plymouth Road Runner. Whatever, now that the pic is out there, someone should build it!!
Yup, '57 wagon with the upper roof from a panel delivery parked on top of the original roof. Looks like the curve at the rear quarter window even follows the original windshield curvature. How does the hood open? I see no seam line along the fender. Stu
