I'd guess that was a truck thrown together with a bunch of parts from different trucks. Also, maybe, someone got the truck, didn't like the ride or couldn't find brake and wheel replacement parts so threw F-1 axles under it. The fenders look like F-1s so maybe it the sheet metal started life as a rare F-1 M-H.
It’s got F-1 M-H origins, but the pictures don’t tell us much. I sent the ad to Chuck and he replied that he doesn’t see the transfer case lever. But may inquire about it further. Stu

Check out what looks to be 5-lug wheels? The cab says F1, but the front fenders appear to be F2-and up.
Not sure if this is a custom coach built rig, or what.

I guess I should “butt out” and wait for Chuck to reply, but to save him some typing here is the core of an email exchange we had about the truck. It is an F-1 and seems to have been a real find. Stu
”I had the guy's mechanic friend jack it up, and rotate the front wheels, and the axels are in it. Front drive shaft is hooked up, although the u-joint at the pinion is shot.
I would be willing to bet this is really low mileage, and was only used to move a slab of marble or granite out of a quarry, into the shop. The wheelbase is 15" 4", so it's not likely they were making many turns. It still has all the M-H plates, and the Pittsfield Motor Sales badges on the front of the hood, so it must not have been painted too many times. When they were finished with it, it got parked.
Some version of the company on the door still exists, so I'm going to call them. The guy I bought it from doesn't know anything about it. He just bought it to sell, because he knew it was rare.
