What type trans fluid ??

Since Mark K joined in, it's time to ask what's better:
A complete flush wherein the fluid goes from new to X level of contamination over 30,000 miles
or
a series of partial changes over time that keep the weighted average of the fluid in the transmission at, let's say, 12,000 miles old?

With the flush machine its SUPPOSED to get 95% of my old fluid out.
Another ? is whats in the 95 %thats goes back in?how much of that is from the last guys trans that was flushed and what type of fluid is it and how many mile were on it?
Remember where talking about mechanics They dont get paid by the hour just the job so dont thing they are cleaning any machine out for free.

Bob, you're missing the point. The idiot operating the flush machine is supposed to replace 95% of your transmission fluid. And, the service director at the dealership is supposed to spend the money on real Mercon SP or SV fluid, not the cheapest stuff he can buy in 1,500 gallon bulk size.

I think they call it Mercon LV not SV
