Well Im just going to run the 37s on the 1/2 ton axles for now, since the 3/4 ton stuff ant no better! while I look for 1 tone stuff! the truck will not se much off road time anyways, will be used as a fun daily driver!
So I went to work on the bronco, the water pump was leaking around the edge. pulled all the crap off, found the bolt near the leak was not tight, I would not tighten up! threads stripped, went to get jb weld/filler some thing along that lines. got tap and hel coil to fix it right! got back took it all apart, and there is a CHUNK of the block missing just in side the water port! no way to fix that! now what?
1st idea
dill hole in block next to water pump, make some kind of clamp to hold/bolt corner of water pump down?
2nd idea
take the 2 blocks and buildd one new engine, (more money then I have now)
Ches see my reply in the july BS thread, I will come down tomorrow and buy it back. I have my 351M block that is good, has a sticking valve issue?? Maybe a head/valve job??
I just had the crank polished and all new bearing put in the engine i got from you, 3 miles less the 20 mins run time? thinking about swapping in to my block with new rings!
