Steering Stabilizer ?

Have a 05' F250 SC FX. Would like to tighten up the steering. I can't see where it has a "steering stabilizer." How do I ad a dual steering stabilzer? Do I need to mount a bracket? Any help is appreciated. New to the truck world.

The steering stabilizer looks like a shock mounted horizontally under the front bumper. You should be able to see it just by glancing under the truck. Yours might be worn out if you are having issues.
You could add a dual setup like the one Rancho sells, but unless your truck is lifted with large tires, it is unnecessary, as the single setup is perfectly sufficient.

I am putting the Bilstein 2.5" Leveling Kit on next week. Is this enough of a lift to justify the dual stabilizers?

35s would be to the point where I would start considering maybe a dual setup. 33s, I would just stay with the single. You can tighten your steering box (I have not done this, so I couldn't tell you from experience), but supposedly there is an adjustment screw on it to tighten steering, but too tight will cause a binding issue.

If your truck is an 05, it should. If there are any SDs that didn't it would be the early ones. I have never seen a SD without one. Just glance under the front of your truck really quickly.

I installed the Icon dual stabilizer on the '08 and love it. Second only to the Bilstein shocks, it is the best mod on the truck.

I installed a Bilstein single setup on the front. Definitely worth the money and you can actually tell the difference.
