Have a 05' F250 SC FX. Would like to tighten up the steering. I can't see where it has a "steering stabilizer." How do I ad a dual steering stabilzer? Do I need to mount a bracket? Any help is appreciated. New to the truck world.
The steering stabilizer looks like a shock mounted horizontally under the front bumper. You should be able to see it just by glancing under the truck. Yours might be worn out if you are having issues.
You could add a dual setup like the one Rancho sells, but unless your truck is lifted with large tires, it is unnecessary, as the single setup is perfectly sufficient.
35s would be to the point where I would start considering maybe a dual setup. 33s, I would just stay with the single. You can tighten your steering box (I have not done this, so I couldn't tell you from experience), but supposedly there is an adjustment screw on it to tighten steering, but too tight will cause a binding issue.
If your truck is an 05, it should. If there are any SDs that didn't it would be the early ones. I have never seen a SD without one. Just glance under the front of your truck really quickly.

I got a new Rancho Dual stabilizer kit #RS98510. I think its for your year model. I'd have to look it up.
I'll sell it to you for a hundred bucks if your interested. Send me a PM if you want it.
