As stated before the gov., and the oil companies are in bed together. the rich do not worry about price and care less. you can`t even get a large group of people to agree on anything. the gov., we voted in office won`t even vote for what we want the people. nothing is going to change.

I got the truck parked in the barn. we have two caravans one is 2007 she drives v6 3.3. goes 1mile to work 1 mile home. once a week it goes around town to pay bills and banking. The other is a old 1992 with over 300,000 miles on it. rough shape it is my winter ride. has a 4 banger hope it lasts for awhile it gets 21mpg. on last legs I do not go to far with it. $ 40.00 to fill thats better then $ 140.00.

I think its those jettas withthe diesel TDI's.. In the their original form they were pulling 45 mpg, I dont know what they are getting now a days. THey had stopped making them for several years, and just recently started again.

not sure if I want abother Payment/ insurance of $ 260 or not .
We are in the middle of thinking one way or another..... if we buy the Car we can park the Diesel / less Miles/ .
if we buy the Car we add $ 260 to the bills but cheaper on Gas.

You cant compare them with us.
Just take Germany for instance its the size of Mi, but you will not need a Car or truck to get around. There have so much more to offer in the means of Transportations, Bus, big Train's, Strassenbahn, Taxi's, Bike trails everywhere. There is no need for a vehicles I know people including my one Sister who still has no Car. What I am saying ITS a Option there to own a Vehicle and you pay higher Price for that Option. Here we dont have that OPTION most of the time.
Here the transportation option are very limited, heck all we have is County Bus which may or may not be on Time, sometimes they even *forget* you. Many times I hear Storys about Folk being stranded at the Grocery Stores because the Bus Driver forgot them, or when you need to be on time somewhere they tell you right on the Phone we will TRY to be there on time ( they never are)
NO Taxi's or Train here. Bikes work but cmon who wants to ride 20 miles to work on a BIKE ?
Comparing all them to us is comparing Apple to Oranges !
And yes the Countrys we are helping should give us cheaper Gas ... pay for our Services.

You have a point with more means of transportation in other countries.
I'll play the devils advocate now. If you purchased your house out in the country or rural area to get away from the noise and people then there are some consequences for that. example longer drives everywhere.

Your right it is our fault, but we moved up here with my first Husband because his Father was not doing well and he needed help.That was 18 Years ago.... when Gas was MUCH Cheaper and there was Jobs. And we moved from Grand Ledge.
Would love to move to a City & be able to use my Bike or other Transportation but as it is we are stuck here being nothing sells.
We are not the only ones suffering even in the City People are loosing out.
