Na, the wifie says we cant leave till July 1st (grandkids birthday) in the meantime we have been sending some stuff in advance so it looks like Michigan will have to put up with me till then Looks like I'll be down to 1 motorcycle and my 1977 f250 while we are here. Getting the carb rebuilt this friday hoping to get better gas mileage out of her, I hope! We are down to 3 of everything (spoons, cups, plates, ........ and a queen size mat on the floor!) and the house looks empty all ready.

First day of work went well. I am the parts manager for a local specialty dealer. Tiny little shop, all he works on is MG's. He's world renowned for working on these goofy little cars. I wasn't even looking for a job, as I still have my business. But this is a pretty good opportunity, the guy is really cool. And I can still take care of my own business in the evenings.

I am cutting the roll cage off the top of Christians go cart so I can fit.. start driving that thing to work for a while..

 

Cool, now all i have to do is find an MG to buy for the milage of course, and I have a parts guy..

 

I told Luke this morning I might be taking my car back and buy him a cheaper older Car he wasnt happy !
He said he rather drive the Tractor to School lol...hmmmmm !

I am telling you something just gotta give.

This line of " Europe this and that" doesnt work here, Europe is and always will be completly different. Its like companing Apples to Oranges.

I lived in Germany for 20 years of my Life and never needed a Car. Anywhere I wanted to go I could walk, or ride a Train too, above ground little Trains, Bus's & Taxi's are everywhere.

Then again look at the bottom. You think US might be able to get a little help from countries that we have helped out....hmmmm

You cant compare them with us.
Just take Germany for instance its the size of Mi, but you will not need a Car or truck to get around. There have so much more to offer in the means of Transportations, Bus, big Train's, Strassenbahn, Taxi's, Bike trails everywhere. There is no need for a vehicles I know people including my one Sister who still has no Car. What I am saying ITS a Option there to own a Vehicle and you pay higher Price for that Option. Here we dont have that OPTION most of the time.
Here the transportation option are very limited, heck all we have is County Bus which may or may not be on Time, sometimes they even *forget* you. Many times I hear Storys about Folk being stranded at the Grocery Stores because the Bus Driver forgot them, or when you need to be on time somewhere they tell you right on the Phone we will TRY to be there on time ( they never are)
NO Taxi's or Train here. Bikes work but cmon who wants to ride 20 miles to work on a BIKE ?

Comparing all them to us is comparing Apple to Oranges !

And yes the Countrys we are helping should give us cheaper Gas ... pay for our Services.
