Nope, I found it interesting when I was in the military. So when the Navy used to sell old weapons and parts in bulk auction lots me and a buddy bought a couple of lots of the 1911's and m-16's. Obviously this was quite a few years back (in the early 90's). I still have the 1 m-16 and 1 1911 I kept from that deal. We put together a bunch of decent guns from those and sold them all for major profit. Too bad I blew all the money on booze and a divorce lawyer.
7.3 powerstrokes all had turbos... (Though, I didn't specify PSD, so maybe that's what you meant)
Dave, I think a combo of different tires and a healthier motor would make a huge difference on that deuce.5. But, like has been said a brzillion times already, they do have way too much weight to 'em to be too nimble off road.
You could get a 7.3 from '88-'94 w/o a turbo and '93-'94 with. STOCK the IDI turbo will out run the first gen. PS. And also out run a STOCK '89-'93 Cummins.
basically what i'm saying is stfu about diesels. there is a section dedicated to them and it ain't this one. diesels have their place, and it is in front of a trailer doing work or making its owner money, they aren't play engines. we just went through this b/s with joef350 going on about idi diesels like they are the greatest, we don't need to go through it again with powerstrokes.
either way, try to keep the diesel talk to those forums, we don't need to add anymore dumb shyte here to argue over, and none of us have a magic money waterfall to make a diesel rev and perform similar to a cheap semi-built big block. dead serious. show me a diesel that will hold 6k rpm all day in the thick stuff and doesn't cost more than most members houses to build and i'll cork it, but until then diesels are work motors and in here we talk about play motors.
