Picked it up at Dicks. A little pricey but I figured I should probably put a good one on there with the way it kicks. Mounts with a swivel stud that I also got at Dicks. The bipod can be installed or removed in about 20 seconds.
Picked up a Springfield Armory released M1 Garand back in 92'. New barrel & action. only thing original was the wood stock. It has the original version of Teflon on the metal. No idea where the thing's been cubby holed all these years. The serial # comes back as 1953.
