It would look like someone died in that wreck, old truck without air bags. I'd also be willing to bet that there was no seat belt being used, drunk I'd suspect.
The truck had hit the underpass of a road crossover bridge. By the time I got there the only ones left were the tow trucks. I watched them scrape it from off the side of the concrete pillar, hook it up and go.

The highway he was on, same one that I was on when I came across this, is a flat two lane on the ground road. He veered off from the road well before the rail, went onto the other side of it, up and into and onto the sloped concrete under the overpass and I'd assume flattened out the top of the truck with the underneath of the overpass, like the truck was wanting to flip forward when it's forward momentum was finally cut short.
I shouldn't have said pillar, it was a sloped hill under the overpass. He was vertical, facing straight up on the slope when they took him down.

Well...I'll give him extra point's for creativity I guess. Also for limiting it to a single vehicle event.
Picked up a couple of used batteries from the ferry system. My dad got them off one of the boats. They use 8 of these biggies to start the engines. Just past their warranty date, so the state is required to replace them. Just like they are required to change out the hydraulic fluid every day (works great for chainsaw bar oil).
My dad is taking one for his RV at the terminal he works at. The other will be staying behind, so I might make a mount in my truck for it
(for reference, that is my size 13 boot with the heel up to the edge)
My truck, Jezebel, and I worked in the yard all weekend. Cut down, cut up, and hauled to the back four big oaks that died as a result of last year's drought. Thought I'd take a pic once we finished up.
