Neal thats just plain nasty, I tell ya! LOL I am glad I limit my pork intake to very very small amounts a month......as you never know what you are eating. LOL
Rick.......I look at it this way, if the good Lord is going to take me, it wont matter what I am doing at the time HAHA. But I feel great and lean, so this is the first warm weather snap and I am taking advantages of it. Heck I hope to have over 1k miles by next wed....but we shall see.
Afternoon everybody! Looks like everyone is gearing up for their weekend....
Neal, that sausage sounds good! With some eggs, grits and biscuits (and even some sausage gravy)!!!!!!
Evening everyone..........getting my body and mind clear for the 100 mile ride tomorrow. esp since I looked at the weather and seems like it isnt getting warm til late afternoon. So it will be a freezing ride tomorrow...
Good morning my fellow Tn brothas and all whom grace us with your presence. Heading out for the bike ride in a few, see ya on the flip side..............peace
Scott...be CAREFUL on that century ride...remember you're just out of the sick ward!...enjoy and let us know when you are back so we don't worry son...hehe
On the advice of a local geek I know - I just down-L'd firefox to see if it cured some problems I have been having - so far it looks good.
(NO! It wasn't scott) - I was afraid I'd miss his triumphant post after his first century, and it sounded logical to dump a browser that has caused me hasslezzz before...
~Although, Scott pointed out what a lot have said before. Anything Bill Gates had anything to do with is a prime hacker target....
Besidezzz - Internet Enema has become an unwieldy piece of crap as far as programs go.
I HAVE THEIR NEXT PLUG IN HANGING BETWEEN MY LEGS!!!
So far everything looks good - I'll try a few graphics uploads to see if I can maintain the Wild Trucks contest next.
Well everyone I did it!!! Yes sir........my century ride has been done! WOOHOO!. Well it was actually around 112 miles in around 6.5 hrs. We stopped a few places to grab more water and munchies. Oh around the first 30 miles we came around a corner and the entire street was a sheet of ice!! AH!!!!!!!!!! Yeah talk about clinching your seat. We made it thru the first big patch and there was maybe a 2 ft section and another huge patch. The guy in front of me decided to tap his brakes and BAM, he was on the ground. And here is scottie right behind him getting ready to hit him in his head.............so I had to do something and tried to turn just a tad and WHAMMM! I met the ground with some serious force. After sliding around 30ft and watching my Iphone slide past me, we were able to get up and back riding. I have a grapefruit size strawberry on my hip, a hole in my knee (ripped the skin off) and bruised elbow. So for the next few miles it was playing in my head to just quit........but I didnt! In fact the it gave me the energy to push thru. I was able to pull the rest of the guys back as I felt great and super strong!!! YEAHHHHHHHHHH.
Hey Scott congrats on the century ride..... you gotta watch out for that darn ice and I am glad to see that you made it through with minor injuries. It could have been a lot worse.
Well I am going to be pretty sore tomorrow, I believe. I think I even got a tad case of whip lash too as my neck is nice and sore. Oh well no pain no gain! lol
