Rick, just may take you up on that! Wolfie, may have to give him a call, and see how's he's doing. I have his cell. I'm with you, I'm ready for spring.
Itried the cell a few days ago, got the classic "We are not available" message. I'm pretty sure he had to go out of town to attend his friends funeral and stuff. Supposed to be full military honors, he was a good guy.
Hey Joe, well not really sure but I am thinking it was the cold weather and me riding my bike in it. Last week was rough due to a fellow shipmate passing. Then thursday morning, I came down with a horrible nose bleed. It wouldnt stop and I had puddles of blood everywhere, so base security called the EMT's. I went to the Navy docs and they called for the copter and transferred me to the MED, as they thought I was going to bleed to death. Stayed there for observation til sat and they moved me to a regular hospital for more evals. They still werent 100% sure what was the deal with me, but thinking since my sinus surgery, the cavity is thin and the cold weather dried it out enough for it to crack and bleed. And we all know any blood from the head area flows like mad. Well they released me yesterday morning and I immediately went to the gym and ran 5-6 miles hehe. I feel good and all is well. Sorry for dropping off the radar, but they wouldnt allow me to have my cell or computer in the room.
Scott no worries for dropping off the radar...just glad you are back and feeling well enough to go for a run!...i'm sure you cleared that with the docs...right? hehe
Try and take it a little slow til you heal up...don't need to be bleeding everywhere again!
I've had a ride in a flight for life copter...don't remember much...but I do remember the rotors starting to turn!
take it slow buddy and welcome back to the real asylum!...not sure if they let you OUT or IN to the padded room?
