Well made home. The weather was decent and overcast the entire way until about 65 miles east of memphis. Then the drizzle came down. Well unpacked, laundry started and popped open a cold one (left over from the weekend and still ice cold hehe!).

Glad you made it back with no trouble - wet highway is something I'd rather see between towns than near a major city. Less traffic, and people between cities tend to have a better idea of what they are trying to do...

The "PUCKER FACTOR" is generally far less well outside of any major metropolis. It's only when you get near "CIVILIZATION" that you have to wonder what kind of idiots and outright hostile people are in the other cars and trucks.

When you think about it, it seems more likely that people in a major town would take more care and caution if only for the sake of their own wheels - but the opposite tends to be the case. It's a rat in a cage syndrome, the more crowded people are the less they seem to care.

Memphis often reminds me of Tiajuana, because we see so many bent and frankly torn up vehicles around here.

~One of the standout characteristics of the "Twisted Metal" I see is that they are usually new cars and trucks - older and classic machines tend to be well maintained, and driven by very cautious people who give a damn about their rides.

IE: "YO HOMEYS! I gots it from Gosset... It be da bank damn problem!"

Sound real?

As one who had to put his own wheels under himself most of my life, I can't help feeling disgusted at what I see. I have honestly never owned a new car or truck...

Whatever.
Happy Presidents Day

Good day Tennessee.

That is a pretty good loss of weight Scott. I was happy when I lost 30 pounds a couple years ago.
