Yea the rear stand down bars are more like a show bar that go into the top of the fenderwells, but the the inner 4 point is to 1/8" solid complete interior tread plate sheets and it has a 2 cross bar tied into the top, front and rear and lower side bars.

I plan to get a real 6 pt put in, another 4x4 buddy had a bender and builds them for his business all the time. And it will get tied into some frame sliders when I have the time.....till then its easy wheeling.

Yes 60 on 30 off, year contract with option to continue after the first year, I can do it till I want to quit. I hate being away so much, but its work.....and that pays the bills and buys the bronco parts.

After a year in Afghanistan as a contractor I took a year off then signed on for another year over there. Then took another year off then got the gig that took me to Dubai and Lithuania.

Fun year 1/2 and now doing this gig till ??? Overseas work pays well but being outa the US and away from the wife and Fords is not all its cracked up to be.

Just were the heck is Lawrence Swamp?? Amherst MA?

hijacked

10 town w/the name Amherst (Lord Jeffery)in ol Hu Hess of Hay. He gave some Indians some small pox infected blankets (knowingly) bout 300 yrs ago. I guess wipin em out inspired the odder yanks to name towns in NY, OH, CO, ME, NE, NH, SD, TX, & VA after em as well.
Glad 2 C the "we'll go slo" till tied into the frame comment cuz You won't B OK if the simple sheet metal is challenged.
Glad U got the work, I don't still - as U prob. know. 60 (y/o) & scared a foreclosure is not like ablebodied, young'n rarin 2 go. Pretty interesting tho...
8^)
Just saw my 88 yr old dad from FLA, his bro I aint seen in 30 -40 yrs etc. Pops is 88 today! Time ta go, I got 10 hr wrk this wk...wipee

EDIT: o0OOPPps 4got_ L. Swamp is a seperate biosphere round here - bear, fisher, some saw bobcat & unbeleavable panther (c-mon on now!). I DID see a timber rettler in my yrd.:- It's only a 500 ac swamp @ bottom of "Holyoke Range" fromed when the last glacer left. the town gets it's H2O here so don't disturbe it, no salt on rd etc...

funny, I wrk @ that other zone (pretty poor employer, 0-10 hrs or so p/wk)

"...post up some pics..."
don't need that, just wondering where you're at with additions, customizations, mods. A list is OK, & not detailed, just drivetrain, suspension. Tryin 2 zero in on the state of affairs @ this pt.
Thanks.

Here is her other Ford ride, you say I am to young to have a granddaughter lol. I have 4 grand kids and step granddaughter.

Hope I have enough Fords to pass around, ah my sig block says I do.

But we all know who gets the Bronco, yes she does too. Shoes AKA "flops", they are all about the flops.

The wife said I was working on the bronco one time with the hood up, and she got out and raised the hood up on the Mustang, but she missed getting a pic.

I was just glad to hear she did not slam the hood and say what I said......kids say the darndest things.

""...kids say the darndest things..."
If U got grand kids U may remember the TV show of that name w/Art Linkletter.

"...she got out and raised the hood..."
Glad 2 C she's a Ford Girl, I got a few of em myself. Like I said when we 1st met - sure wish I had a '73 - 9. (They had the 4 door model w/a long bed. That'd B just bout right for my road trk)

Good luck on the "vehicle passin". I've found we've got such different tastes. Only way it wrked 4 me wuz as a "first car" (they can go fer anything @ that time). I get em back as soon as the kid can get what they really want which aint bad. I'da smashed em up too bad to give to anyone @ that age. I could score big in the sports arena or class rm but didn't do so well w/my 1st few vehicles.

Keep Rockin!

Well drove it out of the shop and had some sunlight on it while I was home, I took it for a laps around the property.

Took ol Silver to a FTE G2G, with its new 33x12.50x16.5's. Ol blue and red stacks was run around a bit too.
