Thanks. I've thought about that. But, the local guards and PD don't like it and there actually really on top of that kind of thing around here, suffice it to say, that just leads to the city nabbing it.
Thank you for the help though. Looks like I just lost out on this one.
most RV/boat storage places get about 65 bucks a month for an 8x18 uncovered space , and thats big enough for you ...sell off a body part for the 1st months rent ...anything to keep your project .. beats starting over ..your AAA card gets you 3 free tows a yr .. if you don't have a card go apply tommorow ,,it's like 35 bucks a yr .. and the DMV service alone is well worth the money ..anything to avoid the calif DMV is priceless ..
Colonoscopy time for me tomorrow. So I just drank my first dose of industrial strength laxative.
How long does this stuff take to start wo

Indeed it does.

Ooh. That sucks. Did they reschedule?
Here's what I had from 06. Ouch. And they couldn't find anything wrong with me, which was good, but still left me with an unexplainable pain. (In more ways than one.)
What's coming out doesn't worry me. What's going in later today is of some concern.

Moviprep. Something newer apparently. It's only 1 liter in size per dose. You do two doses, one the night before and another 5 hours before the procedure. It has a pleasant lemony taste. I had no problem at all with the first does, unlike all the bad stories I have heard.
Preventive maintenance, in any discipline, goes sooo much further than restorative maintenance. And, unlike our trucks, there are some things you just can't restore if you let them go too long.
Glad you're playing it safe, Bill. I, too, am on the schedule for one, and they haven't yet given me a definite date, but I have the Moviprep already, so it should be close.
I posted asking about your test drive on Saturday at the racetrack. As soon as I hit 'reply' I realized that you had another thread on it. I didn't want to look like the goober that I find myself looking like most days. I got to edit the post without anyone finding out.
Sounds like you had fun. I thought about signing up and making the 6hr drive to join y'all, but the wife found something else for me to do.

I'm tryin' to find your phone number...
What's the real deal? Colonoscopy? Sorry, this stuff is all new to me.
I didn't have to stay overnight, but I had to have someone drive me home. Good thing too. I woke up and felt great immediately. Was joking with the staff about making me a sandwich. I got up and dressed myself and was maybe a little weak, but felt really good and was ready to go. The orderly and my wife walked me out the door and at the curb I felt a gas pain, and the cold night air, and if I hadn't grabbed a post I would have hit the deck right there. Light headed and nauseous. I guess I looked bad because they found a wheelchair fast and wheeled me back in. Stuffed some stale crackers and apple juice down me. About 10 minutes and I was ready to go again.
I was the last of the day, and they might have been in a bit of a hurry to get me out the door. I dunno. But I was fooled too, and thought I was in a lot better shape than I was.
The procedure was a piece of cake. I slept through the whole thing, and other than a little more gas than normal I had no discomfort. And I'm perfectly fine today. The most pain felt was the IV.
A Sigmoidoscopy only looks at the descending part of the colon, whereas the "full deal" looks at the transverse and ascending parts, too. It gets the whole thing, instead of only a third of it.
However, that last third is where most irregularities are found. Most, but not all, hence the "whole Magilla" once in a while.
Since you're awake, toward the end there are some pretty-terrific gas pains involved.
