The all-new 2017 Ford F-150 Raptor race truck was the only stock truck competing in the Best in the Desert factory stock class for full-sized trucks at this year’s Mint 400.

Yes, Ford will resurrect a Bronco to go head-to-head with Wrangler. And much like the original Bronco, this one will sidestep Wrangler by offering a mildly more livable, refined product, at the expense of off-road capability at the limits.

John Mears’s son found this 1974 Bronco in a field in southern Idaho. At that time, Mears paid just $500 for it. Of course that rescued rig was merely a shadow of the bulletproof truck that you see here.
