I recently took a 500 mile trip to Ohio, Cedar Point amusement park. While turning for the last 5 miles to go, the truck shut off. I figured it was the camshaft sensor again, started the truck and continued on... The next day I drove out of the park and the truck shut off again, at the same intersection. I drove down the road and turned around to test this, and every time I approached this one intersection, the truck would shut off ? On the return trip home, I had no issues at all.
Is there some road sensor or some external equipment like a traffic camera that can send out a signal to disrupt the camshaft sensor or some other equipment in the vehicle?? Confused.....

Thats what I first thought, but I actually went back to the intersection to test what would happen, and without fail it would shut off at the same spot. Is there anything in the diesels that can be interrupted by an outside signal ?? I figured maybe the camshaft sensor was being overloaded by some sort of outside source??
The right radio waves could in theory interfere with the signals being sent to the injectors or maybe even mess with the internal computer...but man, that would need to be some seriously directed waves. (think of big solar flares messing with satellites) I'm trying to think of what you might have in that area that could also use directed antennas...I'm picturing a "Pringle can" WiFi antenna but I don't think that would produce powerful enough waves.
I'm sure the local FCC team would love to investigate it... They don't have much to do anymore since CB's with linears are on the decline as well as pirate radio.

Don't get me wrong, a business has the responsibility to operate legally, especially a multi-billion dollar one, but man...they self-corrected (theoretically without any complaints) and got hit with triple the fine.
Add to all of this that they fine you for not getting a license that they wouldn't have granted you anyway.
I mean...come on...it's not like some jackwagon fired up on 800 or 900mhz public safety and caused a ruckus. They aren't too worried about image over at the FCC, huh?
I've got a spectrum analyzer and a Yagi antenna... But that's a hell of a drive from Washington DC to investigate an RF anomaly that may or may not exist.
I can't be the only ham radio operator FTE... Consider it a sort of fox hunt.

You don't have much info listed on the type of Ex you have, but based on your CPS comment, as well as your problem, I'm guessing you have a 7.3L PSD, yes?

RFI is actually a known problem for 7.3L powered rigs that have an aftermarket ICP or two-ways, or CB's and stuff with exposed (unshielded) coax cables.
I have no help for this...but can say that my former 2003 Cobra used to do the same thing. At a location nearby, it would simply shut off as though I turned the key off. Interestingly, if it was in gear and moving...it wouldn't. If the clutch pedal was down and the car was costing...it would.
Sorry I'm of little help....but I know it happens...
It has the 7.3 L diesel engine. I can go months with no problems, and then out of no where it shuts off. This was the first time I have had the truck shut off in the same intersetion over and over again. So the ICP sensor, if it is an aftermarket, it might not be protected or shielded enough to protect the engine from shutting off ??

That's exactly what it is..
I currently run ICP202 from oreilly because I kept getting crappy ones from Ford and was tired of paying for them. If I drive around certain parts of downtown Houston, the truck runs like crap and all but stalls until I'm clear of it.
Another user had the same issue, his buddy was on a radio guiding him as he was backing up a trailer. As soon as his buddy used the radio, his truck would shut right off. It took a few tries, but they put two and two together and he went to Ford for a new ICP sensor. Problem solved.
