Sit down folks, took all of 45 minutes, 30 of that was me fishing my fat hand behind a wire loom to grab the connector
i placed mine in the little glove box, with dial white line facing out.
tested it and right off the "ON" detent it jumped to just about 800-900 and then as i rotated the ****, it did what was advertised, although there was a delay of about 1/4 second from turning the **** to actual idle change
tap brakes it went to idle like RIGHT NOW.
i am happy
and yes i put it in the small glove box as it wont be needed everyday and it kept the lower knee panel clean.
i didnt put the silly decal behind the **** as i know to turn up the idle it rotate it ....well clockwise and up plus if i see the white line, then i know its in the "OFF" position
Before Radio Shack went belly up, you could get a rheostat for a few bucks and do similar...glad to see someone picked up where RS left off and offer this item even if the cost is more.
Nice! I have the same but put my dial on the right hand screw to the ODB port. No one but me knows it's there and I just reach down 't and feel for the click to know if it is on or off.
no. The upffitters are not used with the kit. It plugs into the factory seic harness already hooked up
yes but the harness you remove to plug in the BD harness is your up fitter wiring harness isn’t it? If so you don’t have any other way to hook up anything to your upfitter switches

nope. It has zero to do with upffitters switches or harness. It's simply plugs into stock already added from Ford the seic harness and system. Yes some use an upfitter switch with a resistor plugged in to the seic harness. But the BD. Harness only uses the stock seic harness.....not the upfitters

oh so that factory harness is in addition to the upfitter wiring? I was confused as to why they would omit the use of the upfitter switches …. Thanks for the info!
