hahaha... that's exactly what i was looking for. Either it wasn't there last time I logged in.... or I'm a Tard. Reliable sources point towards the latter.

Edit: Thanks, btw! :-)

The flying car isn't purely science fiction. In the 1940s, inventors managed to fly a car from California to Ohio, although the model never took off because of cost and technical limitations. But in 1973, an inventor named Henry Smolinski tried to succeed where others failed by strapping the wings and tail from a Cessna aircraft to, of all cars, a Ford Pinto. During a test flight in California, the Pinto broke free, plummeting to earth and killing Smolinski and his passenger. Some things are better left to the movies.

Here's where he got it:
Mizar Flying Car - The 50 Worst Inventions - TIME

Simply noting the URL would have been the smart thing for him to do, instead he attempts to impress us with his knowledge.

I'm impressed, all right, real impressed.....

...not!

You can lead a jackass to water, but you cannot make it drink.

Some people just don't get it and so...never learn.

I was driving my 5.4L F250 and had the gauge fluctuate from 1/2 to 1/8 during my short drive. Do you guys notice that? That seemed huge to move around. I know it had about a 1/4 of a tank.

My gauge screws up fairly often. But it corrects itself within a half hour or so. I understand why it corrects slowly, it is buffering the level data. But I don't understand why it gets a bad level reading to begin the cycle.

I know for a fact it will do it if you don't turn the key off during fuel-up. But it does it other times too.

I've been dealing with a temperamental fuel gauge myself lately. I just hope it's not a sign of things to come.

Nice 5'er BTW Bill.

Am I the only Giants fan on here?

Now that the Yankees are defeated, I have little reason to prefer one team over the other.
