thanks for the well wishes, he is hanging out in bed, exhausted from the surgery. they think he can go home tomorrow.
i think i may slip out to his job site to grab his phone and computer. his boss and owner of the company stopped in this morning to tell my dad not to worry about anything and when he is ready they will park his butt in an office chair and give him a gopher and a bull horn. i thought that was nice.
i guess i have time to continue reading up on 6.0's! so far in my garage i have the leveling kit, and clear cab light lenses and clear LED mirror blinker lights.
so far i have a trade offer for a custom bike, and another for a 1993 mustang 5.0, real clean body, and if its a notch back thats my favorite car of all time. too bad i need the money!
in other not so great news, i am typing from the surgery waiting room in stamford hospital. dad fell 11' from a foundation wall to concrete, not sure how i think he took a bad step from the ladder to the wall. they reset his shoulder, and he is now in surgery for the broken femur. there is a fracture in the shoulder that they will need to go back in for but its not a concern right now. thank god his head and neck are fine, and somehow his wrist is just badly bruised, there may be a fracture but he will need to go to a orthopedic surgeon after the swelling is down. not a fun night to say the least.
Was just going to stop by and see what's been going on in CT and see this bad news...Aaron, hope your Dad has a speedy recovery!!!
i got a message from the guy wondering what was going on, i left him a message saying "ask your bank, they got paid on tuesday". i hope he can call his bank and get some info! i have parts waiting to be installed and a lot of waxing and leather care to do.
oh i forgot....I HAVE MUDDERS FOR IT TOO! maybe he will let me install stuff in his driveway so when i can finally get it its ready to drive.
