Thanks all. I sure do need to get the truck working. Hopefully in a month it will be good to go. Getting the frame welding done. Then doing shocks, brakes, and rigging a exhaust and it should be good to go.
I was thinking about this today, wouldn't they have to send it to the seller? He needs to sign it before the dmv considers it sold. It shouldn't matter who paid the lien the title still belongs to the seller until he signs it.
Or couldn't you just find out the title # bring it, the bill of sale, proof of Insurance, and the new loan info to the dmv since they are going to issue a new title to your lien holder.
justin- since my bank now has a lien on the title, they had the seller sign a release that makes the previous lien holder release the title to me, so i can have it signed as sold and submit it to dmv with the appropriate lien info. dmv then forwards it to my bank after they reprint it with all the new info. PITA.
i just checked, but the mail didnt come yet. i am going to eat my leftover brisket from the rosh hashana party i missed, and then ill go check again.
2:45 on Monday. Not expecting it to be much of an ordeal. 3 pulls and a sheet is all I need to be happy. Nothing like the dozen and a half pulls I made on the RRE dyno.
i will swing by on monday i should see about putting my truck back on there dyno.
Good afternoon boys
This weather makes me want to park the super duty and start cutting. Nothing like a welder, torches and a torpedo heater to keep you warm.
today i got some excellent use out of the heated seats in the 2011. it was pretty brisk today, although i think it just feels much cooler because of the stupid heat we have had this summer.
i just stopped home for a snack, but i need to go check the mail for something......
no mail yet. i did get my king ranch hubcap though. the truck was missing one. it would be great if i could get the title today, so i can register it tomorrow. my wife already has horse shipping lined up for it next sunday, and i need to get the hitch installed and truck registered before then. my 97 is also leaking really really bad now, so i dont want to drive it anymore. someone is coming to look at it today i think.
