TSB 09-8-03
Some of you may recall my eot has been running 30 degrees above my ect. Took the truck into the dealership for a scan. Specifics of scan: customer states that the oil temp is 30 deg. higher than coolant temp. ran ids tester koeo-pass koer pass cont dtc-no codes. monitor ect-181 + eot-192. edge monitor readings-ect 176 eot 182. visual npf. hot line assistance request going off of what customer states, would have to do TSB 09-8-03. possible egr cooler, oil cooler, thermostat, head or head gasket. Its my understanding this TSB is basically exploratory surgery.
Given I only have the temperature differences and very small white stains at the degas bottle (everything else seems fine), I have been leaning toward the oil and egr coolers and not the thermostat, head or head gasket. However, I would appreciate your all's feelings. Thanks.
