Hard to say for sure, all depends on options as there is a separate price for each of those that effects retail or plan prices.
Does sound like you are in the ball park.
Question really is how hard was it to get there.
Mine was a simple e-mail asking the price. Took less then a minute.
My dealer knows me well and the deal was done on the phone, about 10 minutes to secure price. Option wise the only thing I did not get was rapid heat or fifth wheel prep.

I certainly didn't mean to be a pain in the $#S to my local dealer. After comparing prices through my bank's online vehicle buying program, my local dealer was able to match the offer of one 246 miles away from me and offer better financing than what my own bank was offereing--the price I would pay is Invoice minus incentives. So I ordered my F350. Then two weeks later, a friend who works for Ford told me about the X-Plan and got me a PIN number. I told my dealer about it, and I got the sensing that they were not thrilled with this at all. My dealer wasn't interested in getting my PIN when I told him I had one. My truck doesn't come in for another 3 weeks. Can I still get the price at the X-Plan if it is a better deal?
Lastly, when the dealer invoice comes in, will it clearly show invoice vs. the XPlan price? Reason I'm asking is that my dealer acted like his price would beat the XPLAN price so I am sensing some possible resistance here. I don't mean to sound like I don't trust dealers, but I'm in the military and I tend to compare them to our recruiters. We couldn't exist as a military without recruiters much like Ford couldn't make it without good dealers. But our recruiters tend to say what the have to say to get new Soldiers in the door. I want to trust....but verify....how do I do this?

Hmm... not sure why they would balk at an x-plan offer. If they are willing to sell at true invoice minus incentives... plus TT&L and no other added fees... then they would make more money with an X-plan deal. Makes you wonder what they have up their sleeve.

You're issue with the dealer is the fact that you need to notify them before a deal is made how you intend to close the transaction. In other words you should have told him ahead of time you will be using the x-plan.
So now he can either play ball or tell you to go pound sand. If you did not put any money down, you may want to just look elsewhere.
All trucks that come in will have the pricing on there to include one that is special ordered.
Yeah if you tell them after the fact they can't play with the numbers to make more. If they know you have any plans they won't come off their profits as much, it's all toward their bottom line profit.
My truck was sticker 61965.00 ...I paid 55200 OTD ..no tax or DOC fees since I am a dealer..Even at that the New car dealer makes 15-1800 bucks hold back which they deserve
Thanks to all those who replied. It definitely gives me something to think about. I didn't know about the X-Plan until about 2 weeks after I ordered so I didn't intentionally mean to jerk the dealer around. For the person who replied who worked for Ford, any idea what the current national incentives are for F350s? I noticed all of them expired 4OCT and I'm a little nervous that I haven't seen anything new replace them yet.
