When the temp is 100 degrees in the shade in beautiful downtown Riverside, do you turn on the A/C or just sit there and sweat?
Riverside gets HOT, and if you think 100 is hot, just wait till you're in Palm Springs in the summer, or worse-Phoenix.

The other day, according to the weather report..it was 125 in Death Valley.

Humidity is almost non-existant in AZ except for the monsoon month of August.
There's no humidity in Nevada that I'm aware of...the Desert Southwest is well known for its dry heat.
You wanna experience humidity, Houston is the place, along with the eastern seaboard, the Great Lakes and Florida for a coupla examples.
Have you been to Paris, Berlin, London or Rome? Prolly not...they can be found in the US...and in Festung Europa.
