The little white/clear circle just off to the right of the shutter button? Between the button and the lens? That's a light. Don't ask me what for, because I can't tell you that at the moment. I just know it's a light. If I'm not mistaken (I probobly am) it's either a focusing light or a balancing light. I think it may be for helping the camera decide if flash is needed or not...something like that. I havn't read my manual in awhile, so Icna't remember at the moment.
Or are you talking about the pop-up thing? The pop-up thing is your built in flash...can also put a bigger one on if you want..
I am aware of that.
I was talkin' bout the 1st Thing mentioned, if I ain't mistaken, our camera's have the same Body...?
Also, you can download the manual online, want me to fetch ya a copy...?
What...?
Give me your Phone Number, I'll call you 'n wake you up, or worse yet, I'll get that '76 F-350 near your house, the muffler's completely rusted away, so it's VERY loud.
