pay extreme attention to the pre trip and brake test.that is where everyone gets in trouble. i have my class "a" now but originally started with a "b" and both times I tested i named every componant of the truck and said "it was secure or properly working". they can't fault you with checking extra equipment and not just their list

That and only take combination and air brakes. If you "do everything all at once" the inspector can ask you questions about the other endorsements to screw you up and you'll need all of your concentration to complete those two. The other endorsements are relatively easy (except for haz-mat) and only cost $10.
