Well guys, first day with the big boss back after the cats were stolen, and after losing 6 or so patients in 2 weeks. Not gonna be a good day I am guessing. He isn't a happy person to begin with, probably not a good start.

I messed around in the mud for most of the day then filled up a few 55 gallon barrels full of nails.
Looking at getting my CDL now. Well actually studying and filling out paperwork and such. Found a sweet deal on a 92 Western Star tandem. 3 way spreader, 10' front blade 11' wing 460 horse CAT 18spd.

$22,000 for it. Could easily make it back within a year plowing for the state in the winter and hauling whatever in the summer.

pay extreme attention to the pre trip and brake test.that is where everyone gets in trouble. i have my class "a" now but originally started with a "b" and both times I tested i named every componant of the truck and said "it was secure or properly working". they can't fault you with checking extra equipment and not just their list
