Welcome Ron. Sorry I can't help as I'm away from my truck for the next 10 days. It's sitting in an airport parking lot. All neglected and sad.
I'm not sure what other site is showing a different picture. The DDM Tuning bulb & ballast work fine in place of the original factory bulbs. You should be able to swing by a Ford dealer and take a look as it is a simple twist and pull. I believe the bulbs are the same for the 2010's and 2011's.
We dont have the trucks in Australia they are fully imported on order then converted to right hand drive,so I cant drop into a dealer and have a look

Do you know if you require balast's for the fog light conversion to HID
All help appreciated as I need to order all parts from the State's it looks like
I f you want HID in the fogs, they will require their own ballasts.
Right. On my order, the bulbs come with ballasts. You don't order them separately. The bulbs are actually the same regardless of wattage. It's the ballast that determines whether it's a 35 or 55W output.
I have orderd 55w 5000k H13 hi/lo with the harness for the headlights and
35w 4500 H10 for the fog lights
these are the straight globes and not the 9145
I defiantly want to 55w kit from DDm tuning
During the ordering process its asking me dual in/Dual out harness.. What is that? do i need it?
Also what does the "error eliminator" do? should i order that?
And.. I like the blue tint of HID... does anyone lose that blue tint when going with the 500k or 6000k and 55w

With the posts that I have read there has only been one member that has not used the harness but he was happy with his result, the general consencus is to use it, our trucks dont require the eliminaters
As to colour that is a personal preferance you get different colours the higher number K you go

Thanks Ron,
What does that harness do exactly... Or what does it connect....
The harness connects both the new globes with the hi/low relay and power to the battery and one existing light plug

I hope that makes more sense when I get it all right in front of me. Really appreciate the help.
I'm going to install them next Thursday. I'll post if I run into anything.

All you need to do is follow the installation instructions on the website and you'll figure it out
If you go to page 6 Epic has a video of his harness instalation
I've had my DDM Slim + Hi/Lo lights for 3 months now. Absolutely no complaints. I have not been flashed once considering I drive in the dark for at least an hour every day.
I don't care for the blue tinge, so I got the 4500K bulbs. They're nice and white.
I had Silverstars in both headlights and fogs earlier; they're rated at 4000K. They aren't much brighter than stock and quite honestly, they are a disappointment. I thought those were white compared to stock after I put them in, but the 4500K makes them look yellow. I'm gonna order a matching 4500K set of H10's this weekend.
Don't worry getting about extra harnesses and code eliminators. No need. Plus, the 35W/55W setups don't pull any more current or put out any more heat than the equivalent stock bulbs
I know this is a REALLY old thread, but I didn't really see the point of starting a new one since this thread is directly related to the topic.
I just install a set of DDMTuning HID lights, 55W H13 Hi/Lo 6000K Slim Ballast, and they look great! I did have one concern with the kit however. When flipping on the Hi beams, I don't notice any difference what-so-ever. I did check the bulbs, and it does have the spring/like retracting base on them. Did anyone else see a difference between Hi and Lo beam with this kit?
I will try firing up the bulbs later today and have a friend switch the truck from Lo to Hi beam, so I can visually verify that the bulb does in fact retract properly. I hope I don't go blind in the process.
PS-I ordered the additional wiring harness for my kit, but during installation I didn't really see where it was needed...so I just used the supplied Relay Harness.
