checked - seem like nice enough folks, but their buy-sell section is just about non existent. I've been taking for granted how easy it is to find stuff in CA with so many people doing, building, buying, selling stuff.

Well I was born and raised in San Diego...as a Navy brat. But I moved away 19 years ago to TN...grrrr. Then met my wife here and have been here since. But working for DOD, I travel back to the Naval commands there on a regular basis.

It will be interesting to see how a city handles losing almost all of it's city council, city manager, chief of police, and large numbers of committee members, in one fell swoop. The city manager is usually the brightest man in local government and is the one who gets anything done. Everyone else just sits and snipes at him/her.
