My recycling hasn't been collected in 2 weeks, and trash missed last week but I was lucky to get it picked up this week.
I think they may leave my section open today, at least it is looking that way. They will probably hit this section next week. There was only 1 night when I could not park in my driveway, so they are being as efficient as could be expected.
To make sense out of that, I guess I should say that they did one side this week, and the other side is next.

A contractor for SCE came by yesterday afternoon and changed out our meter to one of the new digital jobs. I guess that means they can shut off our power from their offices now instead of having to come out to the house to do it.

Yep, and they can read your meter from the street, wirelessly. And your rates will increase for the priviledge.

yeah, we are supposed to get the same from pge. one of them fancy digital jobs.
i was talking to our meter reader yesterday. he just said they'll tell ya when they change it. thats going to get rid a bunch of jobs.
